NEW FEATURE – The DP4 Digital Potentiometer now offers a configurable input to lock out set point changes via the front panel. This can add an important level of control for safety or system performance reasons. Driven by another customer input, Dart is always looking to make our products better!

A microprocessor based digital potentiometer that will directly replace a conventional 3-wire analog speedpot or motorized speedpot for most AC and DC drives. The desired set speed is entered into the large 1/2 inch LED display through the convenient front-panel interface…and display units are now programmable for virtually any unit of measure. The attractive panel mount unit is easy to install in industry standard 1/8 DIN cut-out dimensions. The electrically isolated common signal permits direct wiring from the unit terminal block to the drive’s potentiometer terminal points. The DP4 offers the same enhanced display options and capabilities featured in our other digital control products, as well as the Universal Power Supply and rugged screw type terminal strip.

The Accu-Set Plus Digital (closed-loop) Potentiometer is a compact, microprocessor-based unit capable of being either field or factory configured for a number of industry’s motion control needs. The Accu-Set Plus digital pot is designed around a velocity form PID algorithm, and provides a DC “speedpot” signal to an external drive. A flexible Open-Loop mode is also available for applications where using a speed pickup isn’t practical or desired. The Accu-Set Plus is easily configured to operate as a digipot, time-based process controller, or a ratiometric follower controller in master-slave systems. Featuring Dart’s new ModularBus expansion slot architecture, the Accu-Set Plus is ideal for volume OEM Adjustable Speed Control applications requiring specialized inputs and outputs, such as our OPT420 optically-isolated 4-20mA I/O card that comes factory-installed in the ASP40-420. The ASP40’s Durable 1/8 DIN NEMA 4/4X aluminum housings can be easily mounted in a panel or control cabinet. The new optional pluggable terminal block allows the user to quickly install or replace units without the hassle of physically removing and reattaching wires. The units can be ordered with either the standard European-style 5mm terminal block or the optional “pluggable” connector.
